Dr Olivia Clarke​

Dr Olivia Clarke is a leading avian and exotic pets veterinarian with over a decade of experience treating birds, rabbits, reptiles, and small mammals. She holds prestigious membership qualifications with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in both Avian Medicine and Surgery and Medicine and Surgery of Unusual Pets. Dr Olivia has worked across specialist hospitals in Sydney for several years caring for an array of birds, reptiles, small mammals, fish and wildlife. In 2024 olivia embarked a non-clinical career path working for Pet Circle where she provides educational content across a number of platforms, telehealth services and works on developing the bird and exotic pet range. Outside of this she still enjoys vet clinic shifts on the weekends seeing exotics and small pets primarily at The Wild Vet in Glebe and occasionally at Bondi Junction Veterinary Hospital.

 

Olivia has a special interest in rabbits (they are her favourite animal!). Olivia enjoys all aspects of rabbit medicine and surgery with special interests in gastrointestinal disorders, dental disease, renal disease and improving quality of life and managing comorbidities in geriatric rabbits. Olivia also has a passion for education and is actively involved in teaching veterinary colleagues on many aspects of avian and exotics practice.
